Returned this morning with 28 BFT and 100 yellowtail! Bluefin were up to 85 lbs and yellowtail up to 14 lbs! Plenty of spots open tonight so book now @seaforthlanding or on our website. (Link in bio) Good opportunity in the dark fishing with knife jigs 200-350 gram and sinker rigs during the daytime hours. 40-80lb on the sinker rig depending on the grade of fish we see. Yes this is the same guy from the last post, his wife mught say he fishes too much. He might say it's not enough

Tribute Weekend Wrap-up Report

Fishing has been a little tough lately, still managed to scratch some fish for our one day and 1.5 day over the weekend. Ended our 1.5 with 10 bft and one yellowtail. Good sign of fish being seen out there just difficult to get a bite. It should turn on any day now!

Tribute Offshore Wrap-up Report

The Tribute returned to San Diego from a 1.5 Day this morning with 17 Bluefin Tuna and 12 Yellowtail. They had a few great opportunities but lost a lot of the larger models. The Bluefin was in the 80-150lb range.

Finished our 1.5 with 12 beautiful grade bluefin! 10 fish between 80 and 177 lbs! Most were caught on sinker rigs 60 lb minimum and many more were lost due to light tackle or tackle failure.

62 bluefin up to 90 lbs for our 1.5 day trip returning this morning. We had over 20 during the day on colt snipers and sinker rigs (30-50lb line) and very good fishing in the dark the second night of our trip!

Tribute Bluefin Tuna to Over 200-Pounds Wrap-up and Photos

The Tribute out of San Diego returned from a 1.5 Day Trip with 18 Bluefin Tuna, including a 190 and a 203 pound fish. The larger models have been located, we finished our trip with 12 bluefin 85-203 lbs and 6 fish 18-40 lbs. Night fishing was very hit or miss this time around but hopefully the jig bite in the dark will be on again soon!

Mike checked in with the boat, so far they are up to 14 bluefin to 50 pounds and 42 Yellowtail so far. Great sign of bluefin and they are running on a school right now. Lots of losses.

20 bluefin and 39 yellowtail for the weekend 1.5 day trip. Most good biting schools have been found in the dark so make sure you guys bring your jigging setups! We are out again tonight with a light load, book now @seaforthlanding or on our website. Reports of 80- 100lbers have been called in from last night, so make sure you guys bring some heavy gear as well as your lighter flyline and mid range sinker rig setups (40-60)
