We're back! We had two very successful trips back to back with amazing yellowtail fishing on beautiful grade fish! Most of our yellows over the past 3 days have been in the 10-30 lb range with a couple of handfuls of Dorado 6-12 lbs. We have plenty of room on our next few 1.5-day open party trips.

Tribute Family Charter Wrap-up Report

Light passenger Family fun charter was a blast! We fished out on Cortez for the morning and managed 2 yellowtail. We saw good sign but conditions weren't right. Moved out to deep water for some studly red rockfish and then went looking for some bluefin, we managed to capture one! We saw tons of those blue devils out by the banks, but it was still difficult to get bites. We finished the trip with limits of reds, 2 yt, 1 halibut, 1 Bft, and plenty of other mixed bottom grabbers.

There was an incredible sign of fish out on the grounds yesterday! Fish as far as the eye could see but very difficult to get a bite. We finished up with 16 BFT up to 166 lbs for our 1.5-day trip returning this morning. We've got plenty of room on our trips next week so book now!

Excellent fishing for our one-day trip on Friday! 42 BFT up to 152 lbs! The majority of our fish were in the 70-110 lb range biting the sinker rig on 80 lb pretty well. Plenty of room this coming week on our 1.5 day trips.

The Tribute out of San Diego called in earlier from their 1.5 Day trip with 15 Bluefin, one of which weighs 256 pounds! Captain Tyler reported there were a lot of casualties today and recommended fishing nothing smaller than 80# line and a 4-6 ounce sinker.
