Mike is live from the Tribute out of San Diego. Fun day fishing today as they pulled on fish all day long. They ended up the battle with 38 bluefin tuna, mostly 60 to 80-pounds and many more lost. Mike is live below to tell you all about it.

Tonight's 1 1/2 day trip is a go! Very light load so far and bluefin fishing has been good with some Yellowtail mixed in. Bring gear from 25-100 pound as well as assorted jigs, sinkers and fluorocarbon.

A good sundowner on bluefin for another 17, for a total of 23 Bluefin (mostly 30-60 pounds) and 35 yellowtail for the day. Make sure your gear is in good working order, there were lots of casualties today.
